The meeting which was held between Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin was widely covered by the Russian press. Russian News and Information Agency RIA Novosti reported that Turkey was among the countries to be the most influential in terms of the Syria issue, while the Life News Agency wrote that both Erdogan and Putin reached an agreement over Syria. The RBC Daily pointed out that Erdogan and Putin have discussed the bright future of economy and situation of foreign policies in a three-hour meeting. The Komsomoiskaya Pravda daily wrote that both Erdogan and Putin agree that they support Syria's territorial integrity. Furthermore, the Vesti TV reported that Putin considers Turkey as a strategic and reliable partner.
