Second World trade bridge to kick off today
The Second World Trade Bridge, organized by Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON) and supported by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) under the coordination of Economy Ministry is set to kick off today. The event will be officially opened in Istanbul with the participation of President Abdullah Gul and Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan in a gala dinner. The World Trade Bridge is expected to bring together 1,470 businesspeople from 130 countries on June 3-10. A statement issued by TUSKON indicated that the event would cover sectors of construction materials, furniture and home textile.
