Signature of a new era in relations with US

An agreement was signed between the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) and the Brookings Institute yesterday. Within the framework of the agreement signed by TUSIAD Chairman Umit Boyner and Brookings Institute President Strobe Talbott, the TUSIAD-US-Turkish forum will be opened with cooperation of the two institutions as part of the Brookings Institute's Turkey Project. The forum will carry out such activities as meetings, publications and annual conferences. Speaking after the signature ceremony, Talbott said that a new era started between the TUSIAD and Brookings Institute. Speaking in her part, Boyner stated that their cooperation would start a new era in Turkish-US relations and that the agreement signed with the Brookings Institute would ensure that the role played by Turkey in the world is promoted in a better way thanks to the agreement.
