Somali students arrive in Turkey

As part of joint initiatives by the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Religious Foundation, 200 students and 40 religious officials from Somalia arrived in Turkey yesterday, while the remaining 200 students are set to leave Somalia for Turkey today. Within the framework of efforts which were initiated to bring Somali students and religious officials to Turkey for educational purposes, approximately 3,000 students from various regions of Somalia have been interviewed three months ago. As a result of interviews, names of 400 students who are eligible for receiving education in Turkey were determined.
