State protocol meets at graduation ceremony of military academies

President Abdullah Gul, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Cicek, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met at the 165th Graduation Ceremony of Military Academies in Istanbul. Chief of the General Staff General Necdet Ozel, Minister of National Defence Ismet Yilmaz, Minister of Internal Affairs Muammer Guler, Governor of Istanbul Huseyin Avni Mutlu, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbas and Istanbul Chief of Police Huseyin Capkin also attended to the graduation ceremony. During the 165th graduation ceremony of military academies, President Gul delivered the diplomas of highest ranked students of Land, Air, and Naval Military Academies. Commander of Military Academies Lieutenant General Raif Akbas who addressed the graduates emphasised respect to national will and commitment to Kemalist thought in his speech. For the first time an iftar dinner was given after the graduation ceremony.
