Students from Imam Hatip schools open up to world

541 students from all over the world are receiving education in Turkey's religious vocational high schools, namely, imam hatip schools. Countries from all around the world from Indonesia to Pakistan, as well as Senegal and Madagascar, send secondary school students to Turkey so they can receive education at these schools. As part of a project initiated by the Directorate General of Religious Education and the Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) in September 2007, 413 students are receiving education in Kayseri's Mustafa Germirli Anadolu Imam Hatip School, while 128 others are educated in Istanbul's Fatih Sultan Mehmet Anadolu Imam Hatip School.
