Sweden willing to support Turkey's domestic automobile project
Swedish Minister for Trade Ewa Bjorling said that Sweden could contribute to Turkey's domestic automobile production bid. Bjorling, who is in Turkey for a two-day official visit, noted that Turkey could share Sweden's experiences on developing its own automobile brand. Stating that she could have neither seen the final situation of Turkey's domestic automobile project nor held concrete meetings with Turkish officials on the issue, Bjorling said, "But the automobile industry could become a perfect example that we can show to commercial sectors through which we could improve our relations." Bjorling also cited the cleantech sector as another field that the two countries could invest in.
