Texas house of representatives and senate of Texas appreciate Caglayan's efforts

Texas House of Representatives and the Senate of Texas on Wednesday adopted a resolution recognizing and expressing appreciation for Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan's efforts to develop Turkey-Texas relations. Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst thanked Caglayan on behalf of the Senate for his efforts to boost Turkey-Texas relations. Furthermore, President and CEO of Greater Houston Partnership Robert W. Harvey underlined that Turkey and the US has been old friends, saying that the flights recently initiated between Istanbul and Houston by the Turkish Airlines (THY) would create new business opportunities between the two countries, as well as with Middle Eastern and African countries. Harvey added that a new trade delegation would be sent to Ankara to implement new cooperation opportunities on April 13-20.
