Three PKK members, including its "cash box" charged in France
A French court yesterday ordered the arrest five individuals who were detained over the weekend, including three senior members of the terrorist PKK. Nedim Seven, who is known as the financier of the outlawed group in Europe, was among those arrested. The court decided to file charges against the suspects on charges of providing financial assistance to a terrorist organization and racketeering. According to the French Interior Ministry, three of the five were "important members" of the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey and a large majority of the international community, including the European Union. Seven's weekend arrest follows his escape from detention after being arrested in 2007.
