Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland yesterday, prominent economist Nouriel Roubini said that he is hopeful for Turkey's economy not only in the short term but also for the long run. "Turkey is enjoying a very good growth rate," he added. "Of course there are difficulties. The cup is half full, with some risks and positive elements." Roubini also suggested that the Central Bank's decision last week to cut interest rates will help economic growth.
