Trial of Mavi Marmara to begin in Istanbul

The trial of regarding the attack on "Mavi Marmara" aid ship on May 31, 2010 which left nine Turks dead will begin at Istanbul's Seventh High Criminal Court on Tuesday.  Nine life sentences have been demanded for the then Chief of Israeli General Staff Rau Aluf Gabiel Ashknazi, Israeli Naval Forces Commander Eliezer Alfred Marom, Chief of Israeli intelligence Amos Yadlin and Israeli Air Force Commander Avishay Levi for their role in the attack on "Mavi Marmara."
