Turkey has condemned recent attacks aimed at Israeli diplomatic personnel in India and Georgia in near-simultaneous strikes. The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday issued a written statement to condemn Tuesday's attacks on Israeli diplomats' cars in India and Georgia. "Turkey is against terrorism, regardless of its source or justification. In this regard, we condemn the attacks in question and wish a speedy recovery to those injured," the statement said. A bomb destroyed a car carrying the wife of an embassy official as she was going to pick her children up from school, police in the Indian capital of New Delhi said. The woman needed surgery to remove shrapnel, but her life was not in danger, officials said. Her driver and two passers-by suffered minor injuries. Israeli officials said an attempt to bomb an embassy car in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi failed. The device was defused. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed archenemy Iran, and its Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, for the attacks.
