Reportedly, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu phoned his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi yesterday to demand an explanation over a threatening statement made by Hussein Ibrahimi, Vice Chairman of Iranian Parliament’s Foreign Policy and National Security Commission, about the radar planned to be launched in Malatya as part of NATO missile shield system. Salihi confirmed that the explanation was binding on persons and that the Iranian government’s approach was against it.
