Turkey is the second fast growing among G-20

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) released their first joint three-month data on G-20 countries. According to data, Turkey, together with Japan, was the second country following China in terms of economic growth in the third quarter of 2011. Turkey and Japan had 1.7% of economic growth in the third quarter, compared to previous year, which put them at the second rank following China among G-20 countries. According to data, G-20 countries' gross domestic product which was on the level of 0.9% in the third quarter has increased by 0.7% in the last quarter of the year. With its 1.7% of growth in the third quarter compared to previous one, Turkey shared the second rank with Japan among G-20 countries. China got the first place with its 2.3% of growth.
