Turkey, Jordan to share experience

Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek hosted a luncheon in the honor of Jordan's King Abdullah II Ibn al-Hussein at the Parliament. Stating that Turkish-Jordanian relations should continue in a region which suffers many problems, King Abdullah II said inter-parliamentary visits would contribute to these relations.  King Abdullah II said that they were entering into a new political life and laying the foundations for democratic reforms to be implemented by the country in the next four years. "Since Turkey is culturally close to us, your democratization tradition which you have carried on for decades and your experience which you have gained during this process will help us to a great extent," King Abdullah II said. Underlining that the events occurring around Turkey and Jordan concerned both countries and often had negative effects, Cicek said he hoped all of those problems would end as soon as possible.
