Turkey ranks 18th in the world gold league

Turkey has ranked 18th in the world gold league.  Turkey has 302 tonnes gold reserves, which makes up 15 percent of the country’s total reserves.  According to the World Gold Council's report the US has most of gold reserves in the world with 8,133.5 tonnes, and Turkey ranked 18th with 302.4 tonnes in the gold league.  The US is followed by Germany, Italy and France in the league, respectively. IMF, which has 2,814 tonnes gold reserves, tops the international finance agencies with the most of reserves while the European Central Bank ranks 2nd with 500 tonnes.
