Speaking AT a press conference after the Council of Ministers meeting chaired by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc stated on Monday that a Syrian helicopter crashed  after hit by Turkish fighter jets at 14:25 at Turkish-Syrian border. "Though being warned repeatedly by air defense elements, the violation continued and our airplanes taking off from Malatya airport hit the helicopter with missiles which then crashed in the Syrian side," Arinc said. Commenting also on Assad regime, Arinc said that 120,000 people have been killed so far, of which around 110,000 have been killed with conventional weapons according to United Nation's (UN) data, and that this figure was not denied by the Syrian administration. "Assad and his supporters are still vested with conventional weapons, so they will continue to kill people." said Arinc, adding that the responsible officials should not get away with it.  Arinc concluded his speech by saying that the democratization package would be finalized with a last revision today.
