Turkey, Thailand to sign two cooperation agreements
Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya yesterday said that Turkey and Thailand are set to sign two bilateral agreements to enhance cooperation between the two countries. Piromya, in Istanbul for the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), said that a military cooperation agreement and an action plan to enhance cooperation in other areas, including education, science and culture, would be signed in the next few months. He also said that he will visit his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu in the next few months, adding that Thailand would appreciate political consultation with Turkey.
