The world's leading investment bank group, Goldman Sachs, said in its recent report that the actual economic growth for the BRIC countries, whose economies have shown a dazzling progress in the last decade, has just started. According to the Sachs reports, Turkey is expected to become one of the world's biggest economies by 2050, with a 40 percent rise in its national income per capita. While oil-rich countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia could not be covered by the list, Turkey, with its 50,000 USD income per capita, is expected to become the world's tenth richest country by 2050 after the US, Canada and England, the report said.
