Turkey's Republic Day celebrated in Rotterdam

The Republic Day of Turkey was celebrated in an event which was organized on a boat on the Maas channel by the Turkish Consulate General in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The reception was attended by guests from Dutch and Turkish societies. Turkish Consul General to Rotterdam Togan Oral said that he was especially proud to celebrate this year’s Republic Day with the Turkish society in the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey. For his part, Turkish Ambassador in the Hague Ugur Dogan said that he hoped Turkish citizens acted in unity and solidarity and in a way to contribute to the society in which they live in.
