Turkey's tourism income increases

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institution, Turkey has boosted it tourism revenues to $6.1 billion in the last quarter of 2012 with an increase by 17.2 percent. Turkey's income from tourism amounted to $23.4 billion in 2012 with an increase by 1.8 percent. In 2012, Turkey obtained 77.9 percent of tourism income from foreign visitors and 22.1 percent from Turkish citizens residing abroad.
