Turkish businesswoman named head of Pepsi's Asia Pacific Region

Turkish businesswoman Umran Beba has been named the new head of PepsiCo's Asia Pacific region. Beba, formerly the company's southeastern European region head, will be based in Hong Kong and will take over strategy and business development responsibilities for the entire Asia Pacific region but India and China . Beba will also be responsible for merging and buying processes in the region, which covers 18 countries and includes more than 6,000 employees.
