Turkish doctors to volunteer in hospital to be opened in Ethiopia
A hospital will be established jointly by the Marmara Health Federation (MASFED) and Turkish charity Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) in Ethiopia, where the average life expectancy in only 40 years. Ten Turkish doctors will be working in the 40-bed hospital which is expected to open on August 1. Five of them will stay in Ethiopia permanently. Touching on the issue, MASFED President Ahmet Seyfi Gozaydin said, "When the hospital's construction comes to an end, our doctor friends will leave their jobs in Turkey and will go to the Harari region to serve people at the hospital."
