Turkish exports to Syria increase 132%

Despite civil unrest in Syria, Turkish exports to this country reached $62.5 million in August with an increase of 132.3% compared to the same month last year. Exports to Egypt have increased 14% in August compared to the same month of last year and reached $344.3 million. Exports of grains, legumes, oilseeds to Syria have increased by six folds in the first eight months of the year in comparison to the same period last year.
