Turkish film to vie for Golden Bear in this year's Berlin festival
Five movies by Turkish filmmakers will be featured at this year's Berlin Film Festival, including Semih Kaplanoglu's "Bal" (Honey), which will compete for the Golden Bear. "Pus" (Haze), by director Tayfun Pirselimoglu, and "Kasaba" (The Small Town) by Nuri Bilge Ceylan will be screened in the forum section of the 60th festival, which began yesterday. Reha Erdem's "Kosmos" (Cosmos) will be screened in the panorama section, while Fatin Akin's "Yasamin Kiyisinda" (The Edge of Heaven) will be shown in the "homage" section. The festival lasts through February 21.
