Turkish films win awards in Bulgaria

Turkish films "Tepenin Ardi" (Beyond the Hill) and "Araf" (Purgatory) have won awards at the Sofia Film Fest in the Bulgarian capital.  "Beyond the Hill" by Director Emin Alper won the Best Balkan Film award at the festival and Yesim Ustaoglu's "Purgatory" was deemed worthy of the special prize of the Bulgarian Cinema Critics. The Sofia Film Fest screened 246 films from 49 countries.
