Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a visit to Paris today, September 16 for more talks on Syria after the US-Russian agreement on Syria's chemical weapons upon an invitation by his U.S. counterpart, John Kerry. Speaking on the phone for the second time in less than 24 hours, Kerry invited Davutoglu to Paris to negotiate on the latest developments in Syria. The two are expected to discuss the eradication of Syria's chemical weapons and the roadmap within the scope of the US-Russian agreement. "After Saturday's phone call, there was a need for a face-to-face meeting so Kerry invited Davutoglu to Paris. Davutoglu can also meet with other countries' representatives in Paris. Kerry and Davutoglu will discuss how the US-Russian agreement can be implemented and what else can be done to find a solution to the situation in Syria, apart from the elimination of chemical weapons," said a Turkish official. Davutoglu will also reportedly meet with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and British Foreign Secretary William Hague in Paris today.
