Turkish-French literary award granted to Dilek Yankaya

Turkish author Dilek Yankaya has become this year's winner of the Turkish-French Literary Award. "Dilek Yankaya has been awarded this year for her academic book titled ‘La Nouvelle Bourgeoise Islamique, le Model Turc' (New Islamic Bourgeoisie and the Turkish Model)," said the statement released by the Award Committee Chair Kenize Mourad. The author will receive her award on Nov. 12 during a ceremony to be held in Paris. The Turkish-French Literary Award is granted annually to a Turkish or French author for their novels or essays about Turkey.
