Two Danish ministers, namely, Justice Minister Morten Bodskov and Culture Minister Uffe Elbaek, have vowed to close the legal loophole that prevented the closure of Roj TV. Denmark's Radio and Television Board will take steps to cancel Roj TV's license, Bodskov and Elbaek said in a joint statement yesterday. "If there is any gap in the law, it will be closed. As ministers of justice and culture, we guarantee that the current law would be amended to ensure that broadcasts which support terrorism are banned." As for relations with Turkey, the two ministers said that cooperation between Turkey and Denmark in counter-terrorism was quite valuable and rooted.
