US embassy to launch new website in Izmir

In Izmir today, US Ambassador to Ankara James Jeffrey will attend the launching of a Virtual Presence Post (VPP) website. The embassy said that the new website, http://izmir.usvpp.gov, would go live today with a virtual launch by Jeffrey at the Izmir Chamber of Commerce. "The VPP Izmir site is the first of several VPPs the US Embassy intends to open," the statement said.
