US supports Turkey's decision to examine Syrian plane

Replying to question on the US' stance regarding grounding of the Syrian plane by Turkey at a daily press briefing, US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the US strongly supported Turkey's decision to inspect a Syrian-bound plane. Stating that transfer of any military equipment to the Syrian regime at this time was very concerning, Nuland said, "We look forward to hearing more from the Turkish side when they get to the bottom of what they found."
