'12 Giant Men' ready to go against Slovenia in Eurobasket 2009

The "12 Giant Men" of the Turkish Men's National Basketball Team will take on Slovenia this evening in Lodz, Poland in what is expected to be a thrilling battle for Group F leadership in the European Basketball Championship 2009. The match comes two days after undefeated Turkey, which already qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition, beat Serbia 69-64 in overtime in the playoff round and improved to 4-0. Monday's victory followed the Turks' 63-60 victory over world champion Spain in their Group F opening game.
