Air-force commander predicts first national warplane by 2036

A team was established two months ago to build Turkey's first national warplane by 2036, said Air Forces Commander Gen. Hasan Aksay yesterday. Speaking at the opening of a photo exhibit at Ankara's Cermodern Art Gallery, Aksay said, "The Turkish Air Forces has already started working on the plane. It will be ready in 25 years."
