Celik: "Democracy the best antidote to terrorism"

Speaking at the summit of Milliyet daily in southeastern province of Sanliurfa on Sunday, Labor and Social Security Minister Faruk Celik said that they had shaken the foundations of terror.  Celik highlighted the significance of the solution process for Turkey saying "Every bloodshed gave birth to new grudges. We can't resolve any problems with this ideology. We have shaken the foundations of terror extending a velvet hand to citizens." He also said that democracy and brotherhood are the best antidotes to terrorism. A large number of prominent figures attended the meeting, including Deputy Health Minister Agah Kafkas, Deputy Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Milliyet Gazetecilik Yildirim Demiroren, Executive editor of Milliyet Derya Sazak, Sanliurfa Governor Celalettin Guvenc and Mayor of Sanliurfa Esref Fakibaba.
