First lady Hayrunnisa Gul to address PACE

First lady Hayrunnisa Gul, the wife of President Abdullah Gul, is set to address the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) when it meets early next month. Gul, the first ever Turkish first lady to address European parliamentarians at PACE, will speak on Oct. 7 about the importance of educating chronically ill and disabled children. The first lady will deliver her speech as the leader of a campaign known as "Education Enables."
