Gul: Turkey advances in the hands of the private sector

The Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodities Exchanges, or TOBB, has helped Turkey grow in the business sector while making it a more modern country, said President Abdullah Gul yesterday. Speaking at the TOBB award ceremony, Gul said Turkey has finally come to realize that the private sector will lead the country, instead of the previous state-run system and the following mixed system, adding that this understanding now shapes the economy and the government politics.
