"Turkish NASA" by 2015, pledges AK Party

Within four years Turkey will have its own NASA-style space agency, and the number of Turkey's satellites will rise to seven, according to the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party's new election manifesto. The manifesto includes a number of new projects, from the space agency to protection from cyber attacks. The Turkish Space Agency is slated to open by 2015, and Turkey is set to have seven satellites by 2019.
