Turkey pushing to open two more EU chapters

Turkey is working to have two more chapters opened in its European Union accession negotiations early next year under Spain's term presidency, which will start on January 1, 2010. It will push to have the chapters on the judiciary and basic rights and on justice, freedom and security opened. A meeting in Trabzon today will discuss how Turkey can enhance its judicial system and what kind of reforms are needed.
