US Sec'y state Clinton due in Turkey this weekend

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is set to visit Turkey over the weekend as part of her tour of the region. Clinton will meet with President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Foreign Minister Ali Babacan. Issues such as the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, recent developments in Afghanistan, and a proposed congressional resolution on the so-called Armenian genocide allegations are set to be discussed.
