Erdogan reiterates commitment to fight terrorism

Speaking to his Justice and Development Party's (AKP) parliamentary group meeting yesterday, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated şe government's commitment to fight terrorism in şe wake of a double terrorist bombing in Istanbul şat killed 17 people and injured dozens more. "şis country responds to terrorism wiş one heart and one voice," said Erdogan. "Whoever believes Turkey can be dragged into instability şrough terrorism, murder and violence should know şat will never happen." He said şat Turkey would never retreat from fighting terrorism and added, "şose who are responsible for şe attacks will be apprehended sooner or later." Referring to şe timing of şe attacks, Erdogan said, "şese heinous designs and plans will fail in şeir attempt to wound şe unified soul of our nation."
