Parliament and the Foreign Ministry have sent a delegation to France ahead of next week's vote on a law to penalize the denial of Armenian genocide allegations. The bill, recently declared inadmissible by the French Senate's Constitutional Commission, would punish denial with fines of up to 45,000 euros and up to five years in prison. The delegation is made up of foreign policy experts from Parliament, led by ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Duzce Deputy Yasar Yakis.
