Speaking to reporters in London where he participated in an international conference on Somalia, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said, "At the moment, everybody knows which countries have chemical weapons stocks. Unfortunately, one of those is the Syrian regime. Syrian regime may try to use this kind of weaponry to massacre its own people as it fails to massacre them by using snipers, artillery and tank attacks, war planes and Scud missiles. After all, images of massacre which appeared two days ago from attacks on civilians in Syria's Baniyas town made clear the regime's ethnic slaughter." Touching on the talks with Israel on the issue of a 2010 raid by Israeli commandos on the Mavi Marmara humanitarian aid ship, Davutoglu said that the second round of talks were held on Monday and that he would discuss with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu if the third round of talks would be necessary.
