Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu discussed Turkish foreign policy with certain Parliament members out of which there came a news flash concerning the Armenian border. During the meeting which was closed to the press at the Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Davutoglu reportedly said, "We carry out certain activities. If we can convince Azerbaijan, we can make a surprise. We conduct certain activities in the Armenian border," in response to a question from a Parliament member on whether they were considering to open the border. Davutoglu's speech concerning the foreign policy was reportedly based on three pillars; fall of the Berlin Wall, September 11 attacks and the global crisis.
