Fresh from European crown, THY aims to be world's top airline

Fresh off being named Europe's best airline, Turkish Airlines (THY) is setting its sights on becoming the best in the world, according to its CEO, Temel Kotil. THY was chosen the best airline in Southern Europe in 2009 and 2010 by London-based air travel research organization Skytrax, which this year named it the best airline in Europe. "As we got these awards, we were also ranked number two in the world in many categories," said Kotil. "Our new goal is to become the world's best."
