Gul commemorates Necip Fazil Kisakurek

President Abdullah Gul issued a message to commemoration activities for Necip Fazil Kisakurek on the 30th anniversary of his death which are organized in Konya under the auspices of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey with the support of Konya Governor's Office, Metropolitan Municipality, universities and professional chambers. In his message Gul said that Necip Fazil was one of the most important men of thought who has shaped both him and the collective imagination of political movement that he has originated from. "The master was not only a man of thought, but also a man of politics and action," Gul added.
