Market place in ancient city of Tripolis to be opened to visit

The market place which has been uncovered as a result of excavations carried out by Pamukkale University in the ancient city of Tripolis near the Buldan district of Denizli province will be opened to visit in 2013. Associate Professor Bahadir Duman, the head of excavations conducted in the ancient city, said that Tripolis was one of the most important ancient cities in the region. Duman added that the cleaning and restoration work on the ancient market place named Agora which dates back to 2,000 years would be completed by the end of year, and that they would continue the underground scanning of Tripolis.
