Speaking at his party's parliamentary group meeting yesterday, opposition Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahceli criticized Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's statement that "Turkey is not a country that can be flattered and then fooled," reacting against US President Barack Obama's recent message on the Armenian "genocide" allegations. Calling Erdogan's comments unworthy, he added, "We will face new fiascoes on national issues if this mentality continues."
