Presidential cycling tour starts in Istanbul

The 47th edition of Turkey's biggest cycling event, the Presidential Cycling Tour, started yesterday with a spectacular ride across Istanbul's Bosphorus Bridge from European side to the Asian side of the city. Speaking on state-run channel TRT, President Abdullah Gul said the world's best cycling teams are taking part in this tour, stressing that it is also an extraordinary promotion opportunity for Turkey.
