Prodi presented honorary doctoral degree by IUE

Speaking at the opening of the first lecture of the new academic year of Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Romano Prodi, former Italian Prime Minister who has also served as president of the EU Commission, talked about changes around the world. "Turkey and the EU now seem to be engaged. We should be nice to each other so that we could get married. Luckily, we are currently enjoying a good atmosphere and nobody is angry to each other," Prodi noted. Prodi was also presented an honorary doctoral degree by the IUE.
