"50 eyars of migration" exhibition opened in Germany

The Hurriyet daily, which has been witnessing the Turkish workforce migration to Germany for the last 50 years, opened an exhibition entitled "50 Years of Migration" in Berlin last week in a ceremony. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration Maria Bohmer said that each immigrant from Turkey had different stories and that Germany had turned into a mother country to many Turkish immigrants to Germany. The opening ceremony was also attended by the CEO, editor-in-chief, head of financial affairs, head of advertising group, board members and leading columnists from the Hurriyet daily, Greens Party Co-chairman Cem Ozdemir, Dogan Media Holding's International General Director Sevda Boduroglu, Turkish Consul General in Berlin Mustafa Pulat, Greens Party member Ozcan Mutlu, Social Democrat Party (SDP) members Erol Ozkaraca and Ilkin Ozisik, the Left Party member Hakan Tas and a great many representatives from three generations of migration.
